Music from the Cthulhu Mythos
Est. 2010
Fifteen albums recovered from a locked ward of Arkham Sanitarium — dark ambient scored to the stories of H.P. Lovecraft, for chronicles of Call of Cthulhu, for reading after midnight, for anyone the sea still calls.
I · The Case Files
One record per story — and one for each of Arkham's institutions. Each album follows its source the way a nightmare follows the day — scene by scene, from the first wrong detail to the thing that cannot be unseen. Composed as dark ambient: for tabletop sessions, for the desk lamp at 3 a.m., for the door you should not have opened. Two further case files are in restoration.
II · The Patient
Arkham Inmate is the work of a single maker — an architect by trade, who reads Lovecraft the way surveyors read ruins: structure first, then the thing the structure is hiding. Each album is built like one of the stories — a slow accumulation of wrong details, a floor plan that doesn't close, a final room.
The music is composed and produced as a cycle: fifteen albums so far, one per text — and one for each of Arkham's institutions — sequenced scene by scene so a game master can run an entire chronicle inside them, or a reader can simply put the right story on and go where it goes. Two further case files are in restoration.

III · The Keeper's Annex
Every album in the archive is sequenced to be run, not just heard. The cue sheets below map each record onto the beats of a Call of Cthulhu scenario — which tracks to loop under which scenes, where to cut, and where silence does the work. Open an album's file, keep it beside your Keeper screen, and let the record follow the table. Printable handouts from the Sanitarium's files are next.
